We have better cameras
than we’ve ever had.
Somehow, the photos feel
a little more the same.
Sharper. Brighter.
Perfectly processed.
Look through the pictures
our parents took.
There’s a softness. A mistake.
A color you can almost remember.
They don’t just show you
what happened.
They feel like a memory.
I want to photograph my son today
and look at that picture twenty years
from now and feel something.
Not because I chose the right filter.
Or spent time editing it.
I just want to take the picture.
That’s why I’m building s’mple.
A camera with the convenience
of your phone and the character
of the cameras we grew up with.
Made with feeling.
