THE SHORT VERSION
We do not collect your photographs or personal data.
s'mple camera processes photographs on your iPhone. The app has no user account, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking technology, or developer-operated backend. It does not transmit image pixels, filenames, EXIF information, usage activity, or device identifiers to us.
ON-DEVICE DATA
What the app keeps on your phone.
When you take a photograph, the app stores the finished image and its capture metadata in the app's private container. Some supported capture modes also retain an original RAW file beside the finished image. The in-app Roll reads only these app-owned files.
The app may read file size and timestamp information inside its own container to manage storage and recover your local Roll. This information stays on your device.
Debug builds used by the developer can offer a system photo picker for selecting a test image. That test-only feature is not included in production device builds.
SYSTEM PERMISSIONS
Access is limited to camera work.
Camera
Camera access is used to show the viewfinder and capture photographs. If you deny camera access, the app cannot take photographs.
Photos — add only
The app requests add-only Photos permission. This lets it write a finished photograph to your Photos library when you choose Save. It does not request permission to browse or read your Photos library and does not save there automatically.
Changing your choice
You can revoke or change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security. Revoking Camera access prevents new captures. Revoking Photos access prevents Save from writing a copy to Photos; your existing local Roll remains in the app.
RETENTION & DELETION
You control how long local photographs remain.
Photographs remain in the app's private container until you delete them from the in-app Roll, delete the app, or iOS removes the app's data. Deleting a photograph in the Roll removes the app-owned capture bundle, including a retained original where present.
A copy that you previously saved to Photos or shared to another app is controlled by that destination and is not removed when you delete the local Roll item. You must delete those copies separately in the destination where you placed them.
Because we do not receive or store your data, there is no developer-side account or cloud record for us to retrieve or delete.
CHILDREN
No accounts and no behavioral data.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else. It is not submitted to the App Store Kids Category and does not include advertising, social features, or user-generated content services.
POLICY CHANGES
If the product changes, this page changes.
We will update this policy before introducing any feature that changes how data is handled. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Material changes will also be reflected in the app and in App Store privacy disclosures.
